The 2021 Graduate of Our School has been Admitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs!

Ge Tengwei, a member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from Dalian University of Technology's School of Foreign Languages with a bachelor’s degree in translation in 2021. In 2021, he was admitted to the School of Translation and Interpretation of Beijing Foreign Studies University for further study. In 2023, he participated in the selection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was successfully admitted with excellent results.

I. Strengthening the foundation of ideals and beliefs

Ge Tengwei actively participated in activities run by the School and university Party organizations, earnestly studying the Party constitution and Party history, constantly improving his ideological level and actively moving closer to the Party organization. Furthermore, he joined the Party organization in the School of Foreign Languages at Dalian University of Technology, gloriously becoming a Communist Party member.

II. Learning, thinking and self-cultivation

During his undergraduate study, Ge Tengwei achieved excellent results and won many awards in national, provincial, and municipal competitions on behalf of DUT. He has won study scholarships, cultural and sports activity scholarships, Dalian University of Technology outstanding graduate, and other honors.

In his spare time, he actively pursued other talents, showing the style of the School of Foreign Languages in theFenglan Cup Literary Competition and English drama performance during “Foreign Language Activity Month”. He enjoys practicing the spirit of telling Chinese stories, spreading the voice of China in foreign languages, and devoting his life to the diplomatic cause of the motherland.

III. Standing at the forefront of the tide and striving to win

During his further study in the School of Translation and Interpretation at Beijing Foreign Studies University, Ge Tengwei has won many awards in national and provincial interpreting competitions and won the first-class scholarship for postgraduates at Beijing Foreign Studies University several times. Confident and courageous, he demonstrated the importance of hard work to us with his actions, and fulfilled the promise to “Let youth bloom in the fiery practice of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.”
