Yang Zhiquan – Making Up Mind, Fearof No Obstacle

Yang Zhiquan, a member of the Communist Youth League, is a 2020 graduate student majoring in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Languages from the School of Foreign Languages at Dalian University of Technology, under the supervision of Professor Jiang Yi. After graduation, he will be a terminal BG management trainee at Huawei Technologies Co., LTD.

He has got offers including: MT Management Trainee by Louis Vuitton (China), MT Management Trainee by Sephora (China), Management trainee by L 'Oreal (China), key account operation to B of Jingdong, operation manager by Dewu Trend (Men's wear), B-side e-commerce operation manager by Bytedance TikTok, KA major customer operation manager by JingDong Industry, brand operation manager by L 'Oreal (China).

Making clear goals is Yang Zhiquan's tenet of life. He believes that after completing the transformation from undergraduate to postgraduate (which is a high-level jump) the following efforts are to serve the ultimate goal of “successful employment.” In this regard, he has made a clear division of his three years of postgraduate study, and did his best to live up to it. He summed up his postgraduate life as full, lucky and peaceful.

In the first year he planned to complete all the courses he could. In his spare time, he usually played basketball and took part in English debates, so as to maximize efficiency with the combination of work and rest. After the first year, he participated in three internships at Jingdong, Bytedance and L 'Oreal from May to September in 2021, April to July in 2022, and October to February in 2023 respectively. Yang points out that the most important part of getting an internship or an offer through milk round is to understand the content and core of the job in advance. This information can show what skills the person in the position needs to have, and thus guide our preparation. In the process of interning, he learned to mentally self-regulate, calmly face shortcomings, fully prepare himself, and keep positive and careful.
