Since the founding of CUAFLL’s Linguistic Interdisciplinary Research Committee at Shanghai International Studies University in June 2020, the development of China’s linguistic research has been diversified and more scientifically based, and the interdisciplinary development of linguistics has been further promoted as well. It is worth noting that the development of foreign language disciplines has to enrich its contents, so as to achieve creative transformation and innovative development of foreign language disciplines. The successful convocation of“The First Symposium of CUAFLL’s Linguistic Interdisciplinary Research Committee” has facilitated the integration of linguistics with other disciplines and widened teachers’ and students’ thinking, which creates huge value for the development of different disciplines.
